Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated

Intura AI classifiers make fast, narrow judgements with a score. This policy sets out how those outputs may be relied on, what you are responsible for when you send us personal data, and what the Service may never be used for. It forms part of the Terms of Service.

1.Scope

This policy applies to every use of the API, the MCP server and the Console, by you and by anyone using your account or API keys. You are responsible for making sure your users and systems comply with it.

2.Understanding the outputs

  • Every output is a probabilistic classification. The score is a number between 0 and 1, and the label is that score compared against the thresholds.
  • The thresholds are yours. Intura ships defaults, and you can change them per request. You are responsible for choosing thresholds that fit the cost of a false positive and a false negative in your use case.
  • Outputs can be wrong, and are more likely to be wrong on inputs unlike the data a model was trained on, including languages, formats and domains it does not cover. Test the Service on your own data before relying on it.
  • Guardrail endpoints such as prompt-injection and PII detection are one layer of protection. They are not a complete security or compliance programme.

3.Decisions with significant effects

You must not use an output as the sole basis for a decision that has legal or similarly significant effects on a person without meaningful human review. This includes decisions to:

  • grant, refuse or price credit, insurance or other financial services;
  • hire, dismiss, promote or discipline someone;
  • reject a person's identity verification or KYC application;
  • accuse a person of fraud or deception, or close their account on that basis;
  • refuse access to housing, education, healthcare or other essential services.

Where you use outputs in such decisions, give the people affected a way to contest the decision and have it reviewed by a person.

4.Personal data you send

You are responsible for having a lawful basis for every piece of personal data you send to the API, and for giving the notices and obtaining the consents the law requires. This applies especially to images of KTP and NPWP cards and to messages written by other people.

Send only the data needed for the task, and comply with the UU PDP, the PDPA and any other law that applies to you. Do not send data you are not permitted to disclose to a service provider.

5.Prohibited uses

You must not use the Service to:

  • carry out unlawful surveillance, tracking or profiling of individuals;
  • discriminate unlawfully against people on the basis of protected characteristics;
  • harass, threaten, intimidate or defame anyone;
  • commit or facilitate fraud, identity theft, phishing or scams;
  • process child sexual abuse material or content that sexually exploits minors in any way;
  • violate the privacy, intellectual property or other rights of others;
  • break any law or regulation that applies to you or to us.

6.Technical restrictions

You must not:

  • reverse engineer the Service or attempt to extract its models, weights, thresholds or training data, including by systematic querying;
  • scrape outputs or run benchmarks to collect data for training or evaluating a competing model or service;
  • circumvent rate limits, allowances or usage counting, for example by creating multiple accounts or rotating keys;
  • submit malware, exploit code or content designed to disrupt or compromise the Service;
  • probe, scan or attack our infrastructure, or interfere with other customers' use of the Service;
  • resell, share or transfer requests, API keys or access to the API, as set out in the Terms of Service.

If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, report it to [email protected] instead of testing it against the Service.

7.Enforcement

If we reasonably believe this policy has been breached, we may investigate, suspend or terminate access immediately, revoke API keys and forfeit any remaining request balance without refund, as set out in the Terms of Service. We may report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities, and we will report child sexual abuse material.

8.Reporting misuse

To report misuse of the Service, write to [email protected] with as much detail as you can.
