Tracking Targets
A tracking target is the social entity you monitor within Intura. Each target you add determines what data is collected and shown on your dashboard. There are three target types available:
Hashtags
Track specific TikTok hashtags to monitor how content around that tag evolves over time. Useful for monitoring your own branded campaign hashtags, industry thematic hashtags, or competitor hashtags to understand their content strategy.
Keywords
Monitor specific keywords or phrases appearing in TikTok and Threads content. Great for tracking conversations around your product category, brand mentions without the official hashtag, or topics relevant to your audience. Keywords provide broader signal coverage than hashtags by capturing organic mentions.
Strategy Tip: Combine All Three
For maximum coverage, use all three target types together. Track your brand account (@yourbrand) for own-channel performance, your campaign hashtag (#YourCampaign) for campaign reach, and a category keyword like 'best moisturizer' to capture organic conversations where your brand is mentioned without a hashtag.
