Website Audit
Website Audit checks any site for AI-search readiness (Generative Engine Optimization) and SEO. Enter a URL, and Intura crawls the site to evaluate technical infrastructure (robots.txt, sitemaps, structured data), page-level SEO signals (titles, meta descriptions, heading structure), content quality, and AI visibility — then gives an overall score and the fixes to make your site discoverable to AI agents like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity.
Running an Audit
Go to Audit > Website Audit and click "Audit a website".
Enter the website URL (e.g. https://yourbrand.com). Optionally attach a Knowledge Profile, Target Audience, or Content Guideline so each page can be checked for relevance to your brand — leave these blank to skip relevance checks.
Click "Start audit". The audit queues and runs in the background; the page auto-refreshes through Queued → Running → Completed. Pages and scores appear progressively as they finish.
Understanding Scores
The overall score (0–100) blends site-level technical health with the average of per-page scores. Each page is graded on several dimensions:
Technical Checks
robots.txt, sitemaps, structured data (JSON-LD), canonical tags, alt-text, AI-crawler access.
SEO Readiness
Title and meta quality, H1 relevance, internal links, content length.
Content Structure
Heading hierarchy, depth, list usage, and how well content is organized.
AI Visibility
Content clarity, completeness, and brand consistency — run on demand (see below).
Each page also gets an urgency level (Critical/High/Medium/Low). Sort the Pages table by "Most urgent first" to focus on the highest-impact fixes first.
Aim for 90 or above
A score of 90 or above is what Intura calls AI-ready. Start with the items marked Critical or High priority — they make the biggest difference to how AI tools read your pages.
AI Analysis
Run the deterministic audit first, then opt into AI analysis
The initial audit runs fast, deterministic checks (technical, SEO, content structure). The AI Visibility score and page relevance checks are a separate, opt-in step — click 'Run AI analysis' to start the LLM evaluation. This gives you a fast technical baseline before spending on the deeper, AI-powered insights.
Refresh & Action Items
Refresh vs Re-run All
"Refresh audit" only re-evaluates new or changed pages and marks vanished ones — fast and cheap, ideal for routine monthly checks. "Re-run all pages" re-scores every page from scratch — use it after a major site redesign.
Action Items
The "Next actions" tab turns findings into tasks (e.g. "unblock GPTBot in robots.txt", "add a single H1 to the pricing page"). Mark them Todo / In Progress / Done / Dismissed — status persists across reruns.
Pay only for what you run
Each website audit costs 1 Carrot Point, charged after the audit is enqueued — failed audits are not charged. There is no per-plan audit cap; you can run as many audits as your credit balance allows.
